Artists Bio
I have been painting since the age of 4, using my mother's lipsticks as my media and my sister and the bedroom walls as my first canvas. Later it was q-tips and eye shadow, and eventually real paints.
I graduated with a BA degree in Art but alas, no jobs! So I wrote catalog copy for a while, escaped the East Coast and landed in Santa Rosa in 1980. My career took a left-brained detour, but I have been working in two dimensional format, mostly in watercolors since coming to California. Most recently, I have been experimenting with metals and three dimensional work.
I have exhibited around town, both at First Friday, Sawyer's News, the YMCA and other venues. I will be exhibiting at The Yoga Studio on a regular basis very soon.
